A leading organisation within the FMCG sector is expanding its Audit & Risk function and is seeking an experienced Internal Audit & Risk Manager to join the team. Your new role
As Internal Audit & Risk Manager, you will lead the delivery of end‑to‑end internal audit engagements, produce high‑quality audit reports, and support the development of the organisation’s risk management framework. You will manage and mentor a team of Audit & Risk Business Partners, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and contribute to major business initiatives by providing insight on risk, controls, and governance. The role also involves supporting risk workshops, maintaining risk registers, and overseeing follow‑up of audit actions. Periodic travel within Ireland, the UK, and Europe may be required.

What you'll need to succeed

• 6+ years’ experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, or Internal Controls
• Strong understanding of risk, governance, and internal control frameworks
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing or leading teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Full driver’s licence
• Desirable: FMCG/Retail/Wholesale experience, exposure to data analytics or emerging technologies, IT assurance experience, Spanish language skills.
