Lead ICT Infrastructure Analyst | Permanent | 3 days on site in Carlow or Dublin 15 (2 days WFH) | €53k max
The Opportunity:
We’re partnering with a large, multi-site organisation seeking an experienced ICT Infrastructure Lead Analyst to play a key role in the delivery and evolution of its enterprise infrastructure environment.
This is a hands-on, project-focused role for someone who enjoys working across both on-prem and cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 and Azure. You’ll be instrumental in driving modernisation, strengthening security, and delivering impactful infrastructure projects across the business.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Designing, delivering, and supporting enterprise infrastructure services.
- Managing a complex environment including:
- Windows & Linux systems
- Active Directory & Azure AD / Entra ID
- Virtualisation, storage (SAN/NAS), backup & monitoring tools
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams and related cloud services
- Network infrastructure
- Leading and delivering infrastructure projects, including:
- Cloud migration and integration
- New technology rollouts
- Security improvements and system hardening
- Working closely with managed service providers and external vendors
- Driving incidents, problems and change management processes
- Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Managing mobile device environments (e.g. Intune)
- Contributing to procurement, vendor selection, and contract oversight
- Maintaining documentation, knowledge bases, and best practices
- Researching and introducing new technologies
What You'll Need:
- Strong experience in a systems/infrastructure role (L3 or equivalent)
- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects end-to-end
- Strong understanding of enterprise environments and best practices
- Experience working with vendors and managed service providers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience with VMware, backup, and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of identity & access management and security technologies
- Networking knowledge (CCNA/CCNP level is a plus)
- Microsoft or cloud certifications
- Familiarity with ITIL environments and processes
- Exposure to procurement and supplier management
Please note: You will need to have either an EEA EU passport, stamp 4 or stamp 1G visa in hand to move forward with this role. You also must have a Level 8 degree (Bachelors) in a relevant field.
