ICT Application Analyst | Perm | 3 days on-site in Carlow, 2 WFH

The Opportunity :

We’re working with a large, multi-site organisation to recruit an ICT Application Analyst to support the delivery of business-critical systems across a varied and evolving environment.
This is a blended role (60% Business Analysis / 40% Technical), ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders while also staying hands-on with technology. The role will initially focus on Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), with further opportunities to expand across the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partnering with business units to gather requirements and identify process improvements
  • Leading the analysis, design, and implementation of application solutions
  • Delivering systems projects across CRM and enterprise platforms
  • Managing the full project lifecycle, including:
    • Planning, documentation, and delivery
    • Stakeholder communication
    • Budgeting and governance
    • Vendor and supplier management
  • Overseeing UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensuring smooth system integration
  • Collaborating with third-party vendors on delivery and support
  • Driving ongoing system improvements and enhancements
  • Ensuring effective integration across systems, particularly with finance-related processes
  • Supporting reporting and insights using tools such as Power BI
  • Maintaining documentation, standards, and best practices


What You’ll Bring:

  • ~5+ years’ experience in application delivery / systems roles
  • Strong experience across:
    • Business Analysis
    • Application implementation and project delivery
  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft stack (M365, Dynamics, SharePoint)
  • Strong SQL skills (querying, data analysis)
  • Proven ability to deliver projects end-to-end
  • Experience working with vendors and managed partners
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or MS Project

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Exposure to finance or enterprise systems integrations
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • Knowledge of Agile or PRINCE2 methodologies
  • Experience working in structured or regulated environments

Please note: You will need to have either an EEA EU passport, stamp 4 or stamp 1G visa in hand to move forward with this role. You also must have a Level 8 degree (Bachelors) in a relevant field.
