Hays has partnered with a well-known public sector organisation in Limerick in their search for a HRBP to join their team. This is a permanent role covering Limerick & Roscrea.

Your new role
As HR Business Partner, you will act as a strategic and operational partner to managers across the organisation. You’ll play a key role in driving HR initiatives aligned with their strategic objectives, contributing to workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, and employee well-being. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will help shape the employee experience and influence national HR strategy.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with operational managers to deliver HR projects and initiatives.
  • Leading on employee relations and industrial relations matters.
  • Supporting workforce planning and talent development strategies.
  • Driving employee engagement and well-being programmes.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships in a unionised environment.

What you'll need to succeed
  • A third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ consecutive experience in a senior HR operational role.
  • Experience within a public sector healthcare setting.
  • Proven ER/IR expertise and experience in a unionised environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
