Health Technology Assessment Analyst | 3-month contract | €39,500 per year | Cork City | Hybrid
Your new company
Your new company is a regulatory body, responsible for developing and inspecting standards within the healthcare sector. They now require a Health Technology Assessment Analyst on a 3-month contract basis. The organisation is a leading public sector body with offices in Cork, Dublin, and Galway.
Your new role
You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering high-quality health technology assessments and evidence-based advice to inform national health policy and investment decisions. This role supports the BreastCheck HTA programme, with a particular focus on health economic analysis. Key tasks include conducting systematic literature reviews, analysing clinical and economic data, contributing to simulation models, and drafting accessible reports. You’ll also collaborate with academic partners and contribute to national guidelines and peer-reviewed publications.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time-management abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis software. A Level 8 degree in health services research, health economics, or a related clinical field is essential, along with experience in evaluating complex scientific literature and writing technical reports. A postgraduate qualification and experience in systematic reviews or health policy analysis are desirable.
