HR Operations Manager - Construction Industry - Hybrid - South Dublin Based

Your new role

The role is hybrid, based from a Dublin headquarters with regular engagement and travel required across UK operations, and offers genuine long-term career development.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing HR Operations team across Ireland and the UK.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and key stakeholders to align operational delivery with strategic priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR and relevant EU directives across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain accurate, audit‑ready HR data, payroll flows, systems governance and documentation.
  • Drive process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across HR operations.
  • Use data and insights to identify inefficiencies, resolve issues and implement preventative controls.
  • Oversee employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, rewards and employee relations support.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, resilience and service excellence across the People function.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years managing an HR operations team in a multi-site, multi-jurisdictional organisation.
  • Degree in HR, Business or related field (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent) & a CIPD Level 7 or Postgraduate HR qualification.
  • Experience with HR systems, reporting, payroll data flows, and compliance across Ireland, the UK or Europe.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational excellence.
  • Desirable – Process improvement, Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement certification.
  • Desirable – Training in employment law, GDPR/data protection, HR analytics.
  • Desirable – Experience in construction, engineering, or other complex professional services.
