Your new role
As HR Manager, you will act as a strategic Human Resources Business Partner, supporting leadership across the organisation. You will:
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to leaders at all levels
- Support the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement initiatives
- Manage recruitment, employee development, and succession planning
- Advise on employee relations matters including performance, disciplinary issues, and career development
- Oversee compensation planning, training, and HR systems
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly
- Address and resolve employee relations issues effectively
- Partner closely with senior leadership on organisational and people strategies
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and stakeholder management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience using HR systems and talent management tools
Desirable:
- Degree in Human Resources (Master’s preferred)
- Experience in HR management
- Experience within a unionised or manufacturing environment
- Previous people management experience
- Strong project management and negotiation skills
