12 Month Contract
Cork, Ireland (2 days on site once training completed)
Up to €55,000 Per Annum

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded HR Generalist to join as a HR Business Partner within a leading organisation in the utilities industry, responsible for ensuring sustainable infrastructure development across communities.

You will play a critical role in shaping our future operating model, supporting mass transformation activities, and ensuring our people strategy enables successful delivery of this multi‑layered change programme.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders
  • Lead and influence significant people‑focused change initiatives across multiple business areas
  • Manage high‑volume, high‑complexity activity in a fast-moving environment
  • Use data and insights to guide decision‑making and ensure alignment with business policies
  • Challenge and coach stakeholders to drive clarity, accountability, and effective leadership change.
  • Adapt quickly and pivot between workstreams based on programme priorities


About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
  • Prior experience in a HR Generalist capacity
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent
  • Retail sector experience is highly desirable
  • The ability to interpret complex business structures and influence stakeholders
  • Confidence to challenge thinking, problem-solve in real time, and provide commercially grounded HR advice
