Hourly Paid - Site Engineer - Noth Dublin - Residential Project

Your new organisation is a third generation construction developer that has a strong reputation for delivering residential, commercial, and industrial projects across the wider Leinster region. They are known for their consistent delivery of high-quality projects. They have a strong emphasis on sustainability, health & safety, and community engagement. They have a tight subcontractor crew who support them, and they have a strong client base established in their 50 years of operation


Your new role

Your new role is to be based on a North Dublin residential project, which is currently halfway through its completion, with a new phase due to commence shortly.
It mainly consists of housing. This role can be paid for every hour worked, or on a salary basis.

The organisation are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join their already strong team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate site operations in line with project plans and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Set out, level, and survey the site using appropriate instruments.
  • Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Monitor progress and prepare accurate reports for management.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions as required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role (residential or infrastructure projects preferred).
  • Proven experience in setting out and surveying.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

You’ll have the choice of an hourly rate or a competitive salary, tailored to your experience and contribution:
  • Hourly Rate:
    Up to €35 per hour, depending on experience (typically €50,000–€80,000 annually for 45–50 hours per week).
  • Salary Range:
    €45,000–€65,000 plus vehicle or allowances, pension and performance bonuses.
Your package will reflect your expertise and the value you bring to the team, with a review after six months to ensure it remains competitive.
