Your new company
Our client is a leading public sector organisation in Ireland responsible for driving improvements in health and social care through research, data and stakeholder engagement. They are now seeking a Research & Project Analyst to join their team on an 11-month contract basis to support the development of a new national programme focused on understanding and improving paediatric health and social care experiences.
Your new role
This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile national project that will help shape future health and social care services in Ireland. You will be responsible for establishing the most appropriate approach and methodology for a new paediatric programme of engagement, conducting national and international research, and developing project plans to support successful delivery. The role will involve horizon scanning, stakeholder engagement, qualitative and quantitative research, landscape analysis, risk management and report writing. You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders across healthcare, government and regulatory settings, while presenting findings and recommendations to various audiences. This position offers significant scope to influence policy development and service improvement through evidence-based research and analysis.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, Social Care or Health Services Research. You will have a minimum of three years' experience planning, managing and delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders within health and/or social care settings. You will bring strong research and analytical capabilities, including experience conducting literature reviews, evidence synthesis, qualitative and quantitative research and stakeholder engagement activities. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage with diverse audiences and facilitate groups. Strong project management, report writing and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary of €76,500, 27 days annual leave and the opportunity to work on a nationally significant project with the potential to make a meaningful impact on health and social care services in Ireland. The role offers a hybrid working model with just 1–2 days per week on-site in Cork, along with the opportunity to collaborate with leading professionals across research, policy, healthcare and quality improvement. This position also provides excellent exposure within a highly respected organisation and could serve as a valuable stepping stone for future opportunities within the sector.
