To deliver a comprehensive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) support service that promotes best practice and adopts a pragmatic approach, thereby contributing to the achievement of business objectives and ensuring compliance with all relevant EHS legislation

Your new role

• Strong understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and standards e.g. ISO45001, OSHA, local regulations ROI & NI.
• Play a key role in maintaining, continuously improving and promoting a strong EHS culture and management systems across all Healthcare sites in Ireland.
  
  
• Work with the Regulatory & Compliance team to achieve the relevant accreditation at all Healthcare 21 sites and assist during external audits.
• Liaise with regulators and third parties as appropriate in relation to inspections and incidents.
• Support the Quality and Compliance Manager to developing and implementing appropriate and effective EHS policies and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Third level qualification in health & safety/environment
• Full driving licence and willingness to routinely travel to other Group sites.
• High level of computer literacy, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation, including senior management.
