Your new role
Finance
• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop financial models and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment planning.
• Oversee compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal obligations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and external stakeholders.
• Implement robust financial controls, systems, and risk management processes
Operations
• Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design and implement streamlined operational processes, systems, and performance metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across finance, HR, IT, procurement, and facilities.
• Manage supplier and vendor relationships, ensuring value, reliability, and contract optimisation.
• Ensure operational compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to support strategic planning and execution.
Leadership & People
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance and operations teams.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on financial and operational matters.
• Promote and embed diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or a strong financial background.
• 10–15 years’ experience in a senior finance role with operational oversight.
• Proven ability to develop financial strategy, manage risk, and ensure compliance.
• Experience in streamlining operations, implementing scalable systems, and driving efficiency.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams, influence stakeholders, and foster a high-performance culture.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across departments.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Experience
• Background in manufacturing, FMCG, or supply chain-intensive industries.
• Exposure to startup or scale-up environments.
• A strong grasp of digital tools and analytics platforms.
What you'll get in return
• Salary €85,000 - €95,000
• Flexible working hours - Monday to Thursday, 9am–5pm; Friday, 9am–4pm
