Group Financial Controller

A dynamic and fast-growing software company with a strong international presence is seeking an Interim Group Financial Controller to facilitate a seamless leadership transition. The role provides an opportunity to step into a high-impact finance position, with the potential to apply for the permanent role.

Your new role

This role is crucial in ensuring financial stability and compliance during the transition period as the current Group Financial Controller steps down by the end of June. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee financial operations, statutory compliance, and audit processes across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead group-wide financial compliance, reporting, and audit oversight
  • Manage accounts across multiple international entities
  • Oversee intercompany reconciliations and transfer pricing policies
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations
  • Drive ERP improvements focused on financial controls and automation
  • Lead a global finance team, ensuring operational efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  • Strong Group Financial Controller experience in a multi-entity environment
  • Background in software or technology finance preferred
  • Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP systems
  • High attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiencies

  • 40 hours per week, flexible
