A General Foreman and a Civils Foreman are both required in Limerick on an exciting construction project.

Your new company

Our client is a leading main contractor that currently has an opportunity for a General Foreman and a Civils Foreman for a large construction project based in Limerick.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Management of subcontractors, labourers and on-site staff
  • Management and control of health and safety issues
  • Understand quality requirements from specs and drawings and ensure compliance with both
  • Implementation of Daily and Weekly Programmes
  • Maintaining the Site Diary – recording workforce levels for each subcontractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day managing of the site.

Criteria
  • 8–10 years or more experience
  • Experience working on civils or building projects in Ireland
  • Able to work within a team
  • Adaptable, motivated and using own initiative
  • Ability to communicate strategy to the wider team
  • Proven record of seeing projects through to completion
