Your new company
As Fundraising Assistant, you will join a humanitarian aid organisation to lead their Donor Care Team. Your new role is conveniently located in Dublin City and is based fully onsite. Your company requires you to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As Fundraising Assistant, your duties will include but are not limited to efficiently recording and managing donations in the CRM database, encompassing cash, cheque, and credit card transactions; handling donations from phone donors promptly and accurately; generating personalised thank-you letters and receipts in a timely fashion, tailored to donors' preference; ensuring donor records are up-to-date, accurately reflect contact preferences and are compliant with GDPR regulations; answering donor enquiries via phone, email, or written correspondence, prioritising donor satisfaction; performing general administrative duties related to operations as needed; actively engaging in meetings, including team meetings and planning sessions; supporting colleagues and ensuring continuity of essential tasks during absences such as annual leave and supporting ongoing community fundraising activities with a particular focus on schools.
What you'll need to succeed
To become Fundraising Assistant, you will have previous experience in a customer service or payment processing environment. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy along with an understanding of payment/donation processing is required. Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly phone manner is essential. You will have strong IT skills. Being self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines is necessary.
With clear and relevant examples of your transferable skills, you will be a very strong candidate for this role.
