Your new company
Your new employer is an Employer of Choice within the charity sector, located in Cork City. They are now looking for a Fundraising Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis to assist with a busy season of donations.


Your new role
The job requires extracting reports and information from Salesforce, providing income stream reports to the finance department, reconciling fundraised income with finance records, preparing weekly/monthly reports on income and expenditure, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements, providing reports to external agencies, scheduling work and delegating tasks to office volunteers, organising events for volunteers and communicating and reporting activities. The job involves being the first point of contact for general phone calls and emails to the fundraising office, handling enquiries in a timely and appropriate manner while providing excellent donor care. The role requires logging all donor queries promptly and efficiently, accurately recording all cash and cheque donations on the CRM and processing credit card donations. You must also deal with queries related to GDPR, reconcile all donations to ensure they are recorded correctly on the CRM, record direct lodgements to the bank, send thank you letters/emails promptly for donations received, and prepare cheques/cash donations for lodgement to the bank on a weekly basis.

What you'll need to succeed
The job requires someone who is skilled in cash handling, customer service, organisation, and IT. You must have excellent analytical and numeric skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM (Salesforce preferred). You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, manage your workload, and solve problems. You must also be flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
