Your new role

They are seeking an experienced General Foreman to join our site delivery team on a major residential development. Reporting to the Site Manager/Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

• Oversee daily site activities across multiple work areas on large-scale residential developments
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour on site
• Ensure all works are completed in line with project programme, drawings, and specifications
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality control, and site compliance
• Monitor progress, identify potential delays/issues, and implement solutions proactively
• Liaise with site management, engineers, and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Manage material deliveries, logistics, and site resources efficiently
• Support site reporting, inspections, and handover processes

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a General Foreman on residential construction projects (housing/apartments)
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and site coordination
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple trades
• A strong focus on health & safety and quality standards
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and manage site programmes
• Relevant trade or construction qualification (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
