Finishing Supervisor – Sandyford – Hourly or Salary Paid - Mixed Use Development

Your new company
Your new organisation is one of the largest and most well respected main building contractors. They operate predominately out of Dublin and currently have over 15 active projects. A lot of these projects consist of high-end mixed-use developments, such as residential blocks (150–1100 units depending on the site), Data Centres and high-end commercial fitouts. They are renowned as one of the best contractors in the industry and have a pipeline of work for the next 5+ years due to their ongoing residential and data centre presence, along with their well-established client base. They are in a period of constant expansion, and require several internal or finishing managers/supervisors across several of their build and fitout projects.

Details of this Role
Your new role is based in Sandyford on a high-end residential development. This consists of,
  • 254 apartments over 3 multi-storey blocks ranging from 4 to 8 storeys, with a landmark 12–13 storey element also on the development site.
  • Lower and upper basement levels for parking and services.
  • It is one of the largest projects in the area and is contributing to Dublin’s housing supply while also creating a landmark high-rise element.

You will be the finishing supervisor / manager, responsible for the successful completion of this project, within time, budget and standards by means of safety and quality. This project has over 18 months remaining. You will likely be responsible for a section or a block when it comes to all finishing work.

  • You will professionally be able to manage subcontractors and ensure the programme of work is being met.
  • Coming from a carpentry or plastering trade background is advantageous but not essential.

In terms of the offered salary, this would be in the region of €70,000 to €80,000 and would come with a vehicle or allowance.
