Your new role

In this twelve-month fixed-term contract, you will take on the role of Financial Accountant within a dynamic and high-performing finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing financial operations across several international entities. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly accounts, overseeing financial reporting and analysis, managing billing cycles and reconciliations, and supporting budgeting and audit processes. You will also contribute to the development of financial presentations and assist with group-level financial planning and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) and have at least three years of post-qualification experience in a similar position. You should be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and confident in financial reporting, forecasting, and presentation development. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams. Experience in international finance or the energy sector would be advantageous but is not required.
