Financial Accountant opportunity – 4 Years PQE - Manufacturing - 70-75k - North Dublin


Your new company
A leader in the manufacturing industry within their specialist field, this company have been operational for over 30 years. Based centrally in Dublin North, the office is easily accessible from a number of routes and major motorways. They are seeking to take on an experienced financial accountant with a minimum of 4 years PQE or industry trained.
This role is due to recent growth within the team and is responsible for ROI and NI entities.

Your new role
In this hands‑on Finance Accountant role, you will report directly to the CFO.
  • Responsible for full month‑end process, delivering clear and reliable management accounts and presenting results to senior leadership.
  • You will oversee all key balance sheet controls, lead KPI reporting at executive level, and prepare Work in Progress, Pipeline and Fee Forecast updates.
  • Weekly cashflow reviews, oversight of bank reconciliations, and management of the fixed asset register.
  • You’ll ensure all statutory returns—VAT, VIES, PAYE/PRSI and CSO—are submitted accurately, while reviewing prepayments, accruals, shared service charges and payroll journals.
  • You will support cost‑efficiency initiatives across the business, manage the annual audit and budgeting cycle, assist with ad‑hoc analysis, and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • This role has the potential to evolve in the coming years into a Finance Manager role as the company grows.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Fully qualified accountant - ACCA, CIMA, ACA or similar
  • At least three years’ experience in a similar finance role within industry, a stock based or sales driven business an advantage
  • Strong technical accounting skills and proven month‑end experience within industry.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance operational and strategic priorities.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and multitasking skills.
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels, taking ownership and meeting deadlines consistently.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
