Your new company is one of Ireland's biggest transport companies that specialises in a considerable portfolio of products & services from food safety and pharmaceutical compliance. They are looking for a new Financial Accountant with motor industry experience to join their team of five in a busy, friendly office.

Your new role

In this role as Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for numerous responsibilities. These include:

• Financial Reporting:
• General Ledger Management:
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight:.
• Bank Reconciliations:
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Compliance and Audit Preparation:
• Payroll and Tax Compliance:
• Month-End and Year-End Closures:
• Financial Analysis and Support
• Ad-Hoc Financial Projects:

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a similar industry. They will consider QBE.

Skills

• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
