Financial Accountant – Practice – ACA/ACCA – Client Facing – IFRS – Dublin Hybrid -5+ PQE -Financial Report

Your new role

As a Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients and be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Managing multiple client assignments and meeting deadlines
  • Planning and executing accounts preparation processes end-to-end
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships
  • Supporting on tax-related matters (VAT, PAYE/PRSI, Corporation Tax) in conjunction with the tax team
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects and process improvements
This is a client-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced practice environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in practice (essential requirement)
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (experience with Relate/Surf advantage)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
