Your new role

You will play a key role in financial management, reporting, and ensuring robust financial control across a diverse and evolving environment.
This is a broad, hands-on accounting position suited to someone with strong fundamentals across both financial and management accounting. You will not be in a purely transactional role; instead, you will be expected to engage in business partnering, analysis, and continuous improvement.

You will:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for a specific department
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cashflow to support organisational objectives
  • Oversee fund and income tracking, ensuring accurate classification, monitoring, and reporting
  • Act as a key liaison between finance, internal teams, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, governance frameworks, and internal controls
  • Manage and reconcile multiple income streams across different sources
  • Support audit processes and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities
  • Support system enhancements or implementations, including identifying business requirements
  • Provide clear, timely financial insights to support decision-making

What you'll need to succeed

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent
  • A strong understanding of core accounting principles, including P&L and balance sheet management
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
  • The ability to operate in a broad accounting role with exposure to multiple stakeholders
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems and/or CRM platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability
