Your new role
You will play a key role in financial management, reporting, and ensuring robust financial control across a diverse and evolving environment.
This is a broad, hands-on accounting position suited to someone with strong fundamentals across both financial and management accounting. You will not be in a purely transactional role; instead, you will be expected to engage in business partnering, analysis, and continuous improvement.
You will:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for a specific department
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cashflow to support organisational objectives
- Oversee fund and income tracking, ensuring accurate classification, monitoring, and reporting
- Act as a key liaison between finance, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, governance frameworks, and internal controls
- Manage and reconcile multiple income streams across different sources
- Support audit processes and regulatory reporting requirements
- Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities
- Support system enhancements or implementations, including identifying business requirements
- Provide clear, timely financial insights to support decision-making
What you'll need to succeed
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent
- A strong understanding of core accounting principles, including P&L and balance sheet management
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
- The ability to operate in a broad accounting role with exposure to multiple stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems and/or CRM platforms
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability
