Finance Manager – Meath

Your new role

As Finance Manager, you will report to the Financial Controller, who will support you as he steps into a more operational role. This is a hands‑on position where you will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations and play a key role in strengthening processes as the business continues to scale.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing AP, AR, payroll, and monthly management accounts

  • Preparing accruals, prepayments, and stock valuation journals

  • Leading sales invoicing (approx. 18 invoices per month) and ensuring compliance with 60‑day terms

  • Completing weekly bank reconciliations and payroll processing

  • Supporting international trading activities in Holland and Switzerland

  • Working closely with production teams (office presence important)

  • Assisting with forecasting and financial planning as revenue grows

  • Driving process improvements and supporting system enhancements

  • Maintaining strong financial controls in a fast‑growing environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)

  • Experience in an SME or hands‑on finance role

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

  • Construction sector experience and RCT knowledge are advantageous

  • A steady, reliable approach and the desire for a long‑term local role

  • Comfortable working closely with operations in a growing business
