A well-established financial services organisation with a growing presence in Ireland. The business is undergoing a period of integration and transformation following a recent acquisition, and this role sits within their motor finance division.
Your new role
As Finance Manager, you’ll join a small finance team on a 6–9 month fixed-term contract with a potential for this to convert to a permanent position for the right candidate. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your focus will be on strengthening financial controls and governance. You’ll lead a finance clean-up initiative, reviewing and improving processes such as balance sheet reconciliations, bank mandates, and documentation. You’ll also support audit and statutory account delivery, working closely with senior stakeholders across Ireland and the UK.

What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Accountant with Audit and Financial Services experience
- Strong understanding of trial balance, month-end reporting, and internal controls
- Proven experience in process improvement, documentation, and governance
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and deliver structured outcomes
- Experience with SAP and Excel is a plus
- Full working rights in Ireland
