Your new role
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and compliance of financial reporting across multiple international markets. You’ll lead end‑to‑end accounting close activities, oversee statutory compliance, and maintain strong internal controls aligned with global policies and GAAP standards. You will be one of a number of Finance Managers in the business and manage a team of 6 Accountants, this is a strong team that are motivated and very capable. Your key function is to manage and ensure your team are delivering.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilise your management and team leadership skills to ensure a strong working culture that delivers.
- Managing month‑end close, financial reporting, P&L and balance sheet analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with SOX, internal controls, and audit processes.
- Leading, developing and retaining a high‑performing accounting team.
- Supporting statutory accounting, VAT and Intrastat reviews.
- Collaborating with finance teams across EMEA, APAC and the US
- Driving continuous improvement and contributing to KPI development.
- Working closely with auditors and non‑financial stakeholders.
- Supporting automation, digital finance initiatives and ERP system optimisation.
This role requires the ability to work across diverse cultures, manage competing priorities, and deliver with excellence in a dynamic, global environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this position, you will bring:
- Proven leadership experience managing, developing and motivating teams.
- A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant or equivalent).
- Experience within a multinational organisation.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and ideally local GAAP across multiple markets.
- Expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP or similar) and advanced Microsoft tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- A process‑driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi‑cultural, cross‑functional environment.
