A leading global organisation within the transport and logistics sector is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join its Dublin‑based team. Your new role

• Daily performance monitoring, including KPIs, shipment activity, customer performance and margin analysis
• Full product P&L ownership, including month‑end reporting, product profitability, file‑level and shipment‑level analysis
• Monthly forecasting and variance analysis, providing clear insights to support business decisions
• Yearly budgeting, working cross‑functionally to build and present robust annual budgets
• Group reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery of financial information
• Customer and commercial insight, including profitability reviews, performance trends and pricing/bid support
• Cross‑department business partnering, building strong relationships across Operations, Finance, Product and the wider management team
• Supporting process improvement, challenging assumptions and identifying opportunities to enhance financial and operational performance

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years’ experience in finance, business partnering, controlling or FP&A
• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA), ideally with 1-2 years’ PQE
• They may be open to newly qualified accountants who are driven, motivated and have the right attitude to learn and develop in this area.
• Proven experience in budgets, rolling forecasts, and analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain finance concepts clearly to non‑finance teams
• A proactive approach—comfortable monitoring KPIs daily, flagging trends, and taking initiative
• Experience in transport, logistics or service‑based industries is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence senior stakeholders
