Your new role
As a Finance Business Partner, your job will be to act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, supporting key decision-making across a portfolio of projects. You will work closely with directors and operational teams to improve financial performance, provide commercial insight, and ensure strong financial governance.- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide financial analysis and insights on project performance
- Monitoring budgets, costs, profitability, and identifying risks and opportunities
- Supporting pricing, bids, and commercial proposals through detailed modelling
- Delivering forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis
- Managing working capital, including billing and WIP
- Contributing to financial planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in a Finance Business Partnering or commercial finance role
- A background in a project-based or professional services environment is highly beneficial.
- Strong financial modelling, analysis, and Excel skills
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders
- Commercial mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
