Your new role

As the Finance Analyst you will join the Finance Operations team. The job plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial management, reporting, and compliance while driving continuous improvement and strategic collaboration.

  • Oversee month-end close activities, reconciliations, and control processes.
  • Manage all project accounting and fixed asset activities.
  • Collaborate closely with business units to monitor and validate cost allocations, ensuring financial accuracy.
  • Act as a liaison with IT to resolve project accounting system issues and improve processes.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports for grants, contracts, and capital benchmarking activities.
  • Provide key financial information to external auditors and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Work with leadership to develop reporting frameworks that drive business decision-making.
  • Monitor system controls related to budgeting, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead efforts to enhance reporting efficiency, implementing best practices and automation where applicable.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise financial processes, reporting standards, and data accuracy.


What you'll need to succeed

You must be a qualified accountant, Chartered, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA coming straight from practice or with industry experience.
Strong Excel skills are necessary together with solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

What you'll get in return

Salary from 50k to 58k depending on experience. I expect the salary to land between at 55k. Full benefits such as Bonus, Pension, Hybrid working and more.
