Facilities Technician - Dublin - €45K - €50K

Salary: €45,000 – €50,000.00 after 6 months with 20% shift allowance (€60k full package)

Your New Company

Your New Role
You will be joining a company which is expanding rapidly due to market demand and is making major strides and sustainability developments in the aviation sector.
The key duties and responsibilities of an aircraft maintenance technician include:
  • Inspecting aircraft for mechanical problems or damage
  • Repairing and replacing aircraft parts, such as engines, bearings, and landing gear
  • Testing and troubleshooting aircraft systems to ensure proper working conditions
  • Refuelling and servicing aircraft with necessary fluids and oils
  • Running regular diagnostic tests on aircraft
  • Responding to reported mechanical issues
  • Ordering and replacing malfunctioning parts on planes
  • Cleaning and maintaining the engines
  • Reporting any serious issues to management

What you'll Need to Succeed
  • A trade qualification, or a mechanical engineering diploma / degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience working previously in a maintenance position, working day to day on various types of heavy machinery.
  • Experience working in the aviation industry, manufacturing, automotive or similar industry.
  • Electrical experience is desirable but not compulsory.
  • A driving licence.

What You Will Receive
  • A salary ranging from €45,000 – €50,000.00 after 6 months with 20% shift allowance (€60k full package)
