A Technical Services Facility Manager is required in the mid-west region to manage retail maintenance work.

A Technical Services Facility Manager is required in the mid-west region.
Our client is expanding their operations and, as a result, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager / Retail Services Engineer to manage maintenance contracts for key retail clients. This is a dynamic and challenging role offering excellent career progression within a growing company operating across Ireland and the UK. The role is based in the Shannon region.

Responsibilities
Contract Delivery
  • Assist the contract manager in delivering contracts in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Manage and schedule planned and reactive maintenance works.
  • Ensure timely completion of works and client satisfaction.
On-Site Management
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly and professionally.
Team & Contractor Management
  • Supervise mobile technicians and contractors.
  • Plan weekly schedules with the Technical Services Coordinator.
  • Manage contractor approval and review processes.
  • Expand and maintain a strong network of suppliers and contractors.
Financial Oversight
  • Prepare quotations and pricing for works.
  • Manage variations and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Oversee purchase order processes and budget tracking.
  • Cost management.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for internal and client use.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of works and compliance records.
Health & Safety
  • Promote and enforce health and safety standards across all activities.
  • Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Manage work permits and ensure safe working practices.
Quality Assurance
  • Implement and maintain quality standards across all projects.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to enhance the quality management system.
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification in Electrical/HVAC, or relevant technical background.
  • Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management.
  • Ability to develop a strong network of suppliers and contractors.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Full clean driving licence, SafePass, and eligibility to work in the EU.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility and availability for out-of-hours support as required.
  • Fluent English speaker.
Desirable
  • Facilities/maintenance management experience in a retail environment.
