End User Computing Citrix Analyst | Perm | Hybrid (Dublin City or Cork, 2–3 days onsite per week)

Job Summary:

The End User Computing Citrix Analyst will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of Citrix solutions for the business's end-users, as well as managing infrastructure services. This role will report to the End User Computing Citrix Lead.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the design of End User Compute solutions that meet the business's needs
  • Support the development and management of DaaS (Desktop as A Service) infrastructure and Office 365 in a virtual environment
  • Support the design, enhancement, and implementation of End User Compute infrastructure to support the requirements of the company
  • Provide regular and comprehensive status and progress reports covering scope, costs, schedule, and quality for stakeholders
  • Work with IT Architects to assist in the definition of leading infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategies and priorities
  • Ensure that architecture principles and standards are adhered to in the infrastructure team
  • Manage service performance and resource-related performance to ensure that service availability meets or exceeds the agreed targets
  • Continuously monitor and optimise the Citrix infrastructure to enhance user experience and efficiency
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Citrix solutions into existing IT systems
  • Implement security best practice and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Stay up to date with new advancements in Citrix technologies and end-user computing to ensure the business benefits from the latest features and enhance customer satisfaction with the platform.
  • Provide out-of-hours cover as part of the Standby Rota and participate in out-of-hours work as required.


Core technologies of the role (highly desirable): Office 365, DaaS (Desktop as A Service) infrastructure experience, Citrix solution integration experience.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of End User Compute Infrastructure such as Citrix or Citrix Cloud DaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop, or VMware Horizon View
  • Relevant third level qualifications and/or accreditation are desirable.
  • Experience being part of a team with strong people, change management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Proven track record for dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to communicate information to others
  • Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with a proven ability to deliver results within a team
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements and propose and implement solutions
  • Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements
  • Proactively identifying new areas of improvement and using newly gained knowledge and skills on the job.
