Our Client is a well-established large electrical contractor with projects across the Midwest / Limerick region. They are seeking to recruit an Electrical Project Manager in Limerick to work on a large construction project. The ideal candidate should have a construction background in Electrical & Mechanical Services with relevant Project Management experience (5 yrs+), preferably in Commercial, Industrial, Pharma, Education, Hotel, or similar environments. You should be a highly motivated, committed, energetic team player who will relish the responsibility of running projects successfully in the current challenging construction environment. It is essential that you are commercially aware both in order to control costs on each project and maximise advantage by exploiting opportunities as they present themselves. You will also need to have longevity of working experience and have managed large-scale projects.

Overall responsibility and ownership for construction of all projects including:

- Contract Planning and Progress Control

- Project construction organisation structure and resources

- Operation, auditing and planning of EHS & QA performance

- Ownership of project budgets

- Ownership of project cost reports

- Construction support for Tenders

- Early engagement in Tender review process

- Support for agreement of final accounts

- Training and development of construction personnel

- Preparation of subcontractor packs

- Appointment and selection of an approved subcontractor

- Review and audit of individual and team performance

- Reporting of quality performance

- Reporting of EHS performance
