Electrical Mobile Technician - €50,000 - €52,000 + Excellent Benefits Package
Your New Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance and operation of client facilities across multiple sites. Working within a fast-paced facilities management environment, you will ensure building systems, plant equipment, and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role combines planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault diagnosis, compliance monitoring, and building services support. You will work closely with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused maintenance service across all assigned sites.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Follow company procedures, policies, and operational standards at all times.
- Take ownership of maintenance activities within your designated areas of responsibility.
- Ensure service delivery targets and agreed performance standards are consistently achieved.
- Manage maintenance requests through the CAFM/helpdesk system, ensuring tasks are completed within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain clean, organised, and safe working environments.
- Review and ensure all Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are in place before commencing work.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Identify equipment faults and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Carry out the installation, servicing, repair, and replacement of plant and building services equipment.
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities in line with maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across a range of systems and equipment.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections, audits, plant checks, and meter readings, implementing remedial actions where necessary.
- Support mechanical, HVAC, and general building fabric maintenance activities.
- Assist with site improvement projects and collaborate with internal departments on maintenance initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
- Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across the sites.
- Participate in an on-call rota and provide flexible support when required.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Qualified Electrician with relevant trade certification.
- Previous experience within facilities management, building services, maintenance engineering, or a similar technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes and maintenance management systems.
- Experience carrying out electrical testing, fault-finding, and diagnostic activities.
- Familiarity with PAT testing and thermal imaging techniques.
- Understanding of emergency lighting, fire alarm, and life safety systems.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, mechanical services, and general building maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full clean Irish driving licence.
- Previous experience in a mobile maintenance role would be advantageous.
