Devops Engineer

DevOps Engineer | Golang, Azure, Kubernetes | Hybrid – Limerick | €550/day | June Start

A leading MedTech organisation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its global technology team. You’ll be instrumental in building and supporting a critical cloud-native platform for inspection and verification, hosted on Azure and leveraging Kubernetes. This is a hybrid contract role, ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong Golang and Azure experience who thrives in regulated environments.
Start Date: ASAP (targeting June)
Location: Hybrid – Limerick (National Technology Park)
Duration: Until 31st December 2025
Rate: Up to €550 per day (40 hours/week)
BYOD required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure tooling and microservices using Go (Golang)
  • Build and automate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning
  • Support and scale workloads in Azure AKS (Kubernetes)
  • Integrate and manage RabbitMQ and other messaging systems
  • Ensure infrastructure aligns with security, compliance, and operational standards
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and DevOps best practices

✅ Ideal Candidate:

  • 4–5 years’ experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering role
  • Strong programming skills in Golang (or willingness to learn)
  • Solid hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, especially AKS
  • Skilled in CI/CD tooling (e.g. Jenkins, ArgoCD) and modern DevOps practices
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi)
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments, scripting with Python/Bash
  • Experience in highly regulated industries (pharma, medtech, financial services preferred)
