As the business continues to expand, they are now seeking an experienced Design Manager to play a key role in the successful delivery of current and upcoming residential developments.

  • Ensure all designs meet required quality, sustainability, and constructability standards
  • Act as the key point of contact between design teams, internal stakeholders, contractors, and planning authorities
  • Ensure timely issue of coordinated design packages to support procurement and construction activities
  • Work closely with the Commercial and Construction teams to ensure designs are aligned with project budgets and delivery timelines
  • Support planning submissions, coordination of planning consultants, and responses to planning queries or conditions
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including BCAR, fire safety certifications, and assigned certifier processes

  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a Design Management role within residential development, main contracting, or consultancy
  • Strong experience delivering large‑scale housing or apartment developments through all project stages
  • Solid understanding of Irish Building Regulations, planning processes, and construction methodologies

Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent technical knowledge and strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong commercial and programme awareness
  • Confident communicator with experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
  • Proficient in design and project management software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, BIM environments, MS Project)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with wider development and site teams

What you'll get in return

In return, you will join a team of leading construction and design professionals, delivering high‑quality residential developments across Dublin and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to €95,000, depending on experience, along with a strong benefits package that includes a company vehicle or fuel allowance, a competitive pension contribution, annual salary reviews, and discretionary bonus schemes.
