Your new company

This client is a large, Tier 1 construction company who have completed numerous multi-million-euro projects. They are seeking an on-site Design Manager for a greenfield residential site in Blackpool, Cork.

Your new role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Design Manager is responsible for the technical management of the building project. They should be methodical in their approach, capable of managing multidisciplinary teams, experienced in dealing with design teams and other third parties and have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

What you'll need to succeed

Candidates should have a degree-level qualification in engineering, construction management or related subject, while post-graduate qualifications and/or membership of a relevant professional institute such as Engineers Ireland are desirable.
