Hey folks!

We’re currently hiring a Data Scientist (Level 2) and experience in data analytics, SQL/Python, and financial crime/AML or risk analytics really stood out.
This role sits within Financial Crime Analytics (Second Line of Defence) and plays a key part in safeguarding the bank against Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Fraud, Sanctions breaches, and AML risks.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Analysing AML Transaction Monitoring and Financial Crime data
  • Building MI dashboards and visual insights (Qlik/Tableau/SAS VA)
  • Using SQL + Python/R/SAS for deep‑dive analysis
  • Supporting AML, Fraud, Sanctions & Compliance investigations
  • Conducting data quality checks, testing & issue resolution
  • Partnering with Risk, Compliance, Technology & 1LOD teams
  • Helping ensure alignment with Central Bank & FCA regulatory expectations

  • Location: Sandyford, Dublin
  • Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
  • Contract: 12‑month rolling contract
  • Payment: Weekly
  • Start Date: ASAP
Job Description
We’re looking for someone with:
  • 2+ years in Data Analyst / Data Scientist roles
  • Strong SQL skills (mandatory)
  • Experience with Python/R/SAS
  • Background in Financial Crime, AML, Fraud, Risk, or Compliance (ideal but not required)
  • Strong data visualisation skills (QlikView, Tableau, Power BI, SAS VA)
  • Degree in Maths, Stats, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or similar
  • Great communication skills & ability to explain technical insights simply
