We are urgently hiring for the position of Customer Engagement Consultant based in Charleville. This is a contractual role for 12 months (possible extension), an on-site role (5 days a week) offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge.

Role Summary:
Role Responsibilities
:
  • Greeting and engaging with customers on the banking hall floor – enquiring as to their needs
  • Guiding customers to the appropriate self-service options – mobile app, internet banking and kiosks. Directing to Teller/Customer Service if required
  • Handling basic queries and complaints – directing to senior staff as required
  • Engaging with customers using iPads, updating customer information and sales needs
  • Identifying sales opportunities, handing over to suitable staff as required
  • Cash handling – processing and managing cash and cheque lodgements at Teller as required. Responsible for balancing cash at end of day and managing levels throughout the day

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Customer Service experience, high standard of service and demonstrated awareness of the importance of same
  • Resilient and hard-working – busy work environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills – ability to work as part of a team in a busy branch
  • An ability to adapt to new technologies, using our digital platforms to enable customers to self-serve

The purpose of this role is to provide a professional, friendly, and engaged service to our customers. You will be a visible and active presence in our branches, delivering a personal customer.
