Your new company
One of Ireland’s largest financial companies with over 200 locations nationwide, which provides a diverse range of services in banking, financial and related services, is currently seeking a Credit Official at Central Park or Airside Swords.

Your new role
This is a telephony-based role, where the successful candidate will assist our SME customers who are in financial difficulty. The SME arrears team proactively contact customers in relation to account arrears and find the most appropriate solutions for our customers. We will provide extensive training to equip you with the right tools to successfully complete the role.

What you'll need to succeed

  • The candidate should have APA(Loans and Regulations)/QFA.
  • Excellent customer engagement and negotiation skills
  • Previous experience engaging with customers over the telephone
  • Previous roles in a financial institution are desirable.
  • Credit assessment experience would be an advantage.


What you'll get in return

  • You'll get accounts to work, to review some accounts to see if we should issue pre-demand agreements that were made to clear arrears. If they've so you're kind of looking into, we call them our queues.
  • Work sort of review individual accounts.
  • You're following the procedures in order to close out their banking facilities with the client really and move it on to recovery.
  • You are in a ready position on the phone expecting some calls. Those calls can range, you know, from someone just looking to make a payment, someone looking to agree to some plan, to clear the arrears or someone looking at looking to restructure or refinance their FAC. You're making that judgment call, and then once the judgment call is made.
