Credit Control – 12-Month Contract - Dublin North – Up To €40,000

Your new company

A well-established financial services organisation based in North Dublin is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the team on a 12‑month contract, with an immediate start preferred. This is a critical, hands-on role within a busy credit function, suited to an experienced professional who can operate independently from day one.

Your new role

Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the credit control function. This role involves managing loan and mortgage arrears, negotiating and monitoring repayment plans, completing CCR reporting, and ensuring compliance with MARP and internal credit control policies. You will liaise with members, external debt collection agencies and solicitors, analyse arrears trends, and prepare regular reports for senior management, committees and board meetings. This is a busy and hands-on role requiring a confident, experienced credit control professional who can work independently from day one.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have at least 3 years’ experience in a Credit Control or Arrears Management role within a Credit Union or financial services environment, along with a mandatory APA Loans qualification (QFA advantageous). You must have hands-on experience managing loan and mortgage arrears, MARP processes, CCR reporting, and negotiating repayment plans, and be comfortable liaising with members, solicitors and debt collection agencies. Strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, demanding environment are essential, as this role requires minimal training.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a salary of €30,000–€40,000 DOE, along with the opportunity to join a busy finance team and gain exposure to valuable AR and credit control experience. This contract provides a great opportunity to develop your skills and contribute meaningfully during a key period for the business.
