Contracts Manager – Main Contractor – Dublin

Your new role
As Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within programme, budget, and quality standards. You will lead site teams, liaise with clients, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a senior role requiring strong leadership and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage complex construction programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all contractual and operational aspects of projects valued over €50m.
  • Prepare and monitor construction programmes, ensuring timely handover.
  • Liaise with design teams, project managers, and stakeholders to manage variations and schedule changes.
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and best practices.
  • Represent the company at site meetings and prepare professional progress reports.
  • Monitor site records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with senior management, QS, and procurement teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years at Contracts Manager level.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects (€50m+).
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple teams effectively. [purcell.ie]
