A well-established main contractor with a strong pipeline of work in the life sciences sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team delivering projects on a major pharmaceutical site.

Your new role

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of construction projects either on a single large project or across multiple sites. The focus will be on ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning through to completion
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, site teams, and commercial staff
• Oversee subcontractors and site operations to ensure delivery to programme
• Support design coordination and manage RFIs where required
• Plan and track weekly work programmes and report on progress
• Ensure key milestones are achieved and risks are effectively managed
• Work closely with the Contracts Manager and commercial team to meet budget and programme targets
• Maintain strong health & safety standards across all activities
• Lead site meetings and manage day-to-day project operations

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor
• Background in construction, civil, or M&E projects
• Experience working on pharmaceutical or similar regulated sites
• Strong understanding of health & safety and site processes
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
