Your new role

The role is a Commercial Manager working on Commercial & Industrial Projects. The candidate is responsible for managing all commercial and procurement aspects relating to assigned “Live” construction projects, from setting initial cost budgets from estimates to compiling and closing out of final accounts. They will work closely with the project team to ensure that the projects are completed within budget and that all financial aspects of the projects are in order. This role will be both office and site-based. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Procurement/ Contracts specialist with a background in quantity surveying to work as part of a team and have their input in a developing and expanding department in a fast-growing business.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Procurement and Contracts for Mechanical and Engineering clients
• 5+ years’ experience in a quantity surveying role with a mechanical contractor.
• Strong understanding of mechanical installations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a specific focus on M&E components.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and methodical record-keeping.
• Strong IT Skills and Microsoft Office Suite a requisite.
