Commercial finance role for a Management Accountant with analytical, reporting and business partnering skills

A leading Irish organisation with a national remit require an experienced Commercial / Management Accountant to join an expanding commercial finance team based in their Dublin City Centre Head Office

Reporting to a Commercial Finance Manager, working as part of a small team, you will work closely with many teams across the business. You will be involved in areas such as financial reporting, budgets, cost analysis, project accounting, business partnering and risk assessment

Key Tasks will include:
  • Preparation of departmental budgets and assessment of KPIs across various projects
  • Assisting with the maintenance of project budgets and cashflow forecasts
  • Completion of project costs reconciliations
  • Assist with management and oversight of monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reporting requirements
  • Liaison with Business Managers to manage and report on budget variances
  • Systems development and process improvement
  • Act as a liaison between business units and the main finance function.

Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2–3 years + pqe with strong financial analysis, financial reporting and data analysis skills, along with strong management accounting, budgeting and business partnering experience. Project accounting experience an asset but not essential. You will possess excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills along with strong IT skills to include advanced Excel

Salary €65k-€75K (depending on experience)
