An SME outsourcing business in Dublin on a strategic growth path are looking for an experienced, client-oriented Qualified Accountant as part of their ongoing expansion. They are based in a central location and offer hybrid working and excellent benefits for their employees. This company very much fosters a culture of collaboration and career development and are looking for someone with a strategic growth mindset who will stay with the company long-term to manage a team of accountants, network with new and existing clients and identify opportunities to grow the business and client base. This is a strategic client development role.

They have a diverse client base including startups, fintech, semi-state, education, healthcare, construction and creative arts.

Your new role
The Client Lead Accountant will manage a team of 4 accountants and your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Team management, development and mentorship
• Management of new and existing clients, including negotiation on pricing contracts and identifying new business opportunities.
• Review the team's monthly management account packs including analytical review of variance analysis and insights
• Strategic financial planning support for clients including budgeting and forecasting, analysis on business profitability and KPI reporting
• Ad-hoc support on tax compliance
• Ad-hoc client projects as required - M&A, due diligence, systems projects, restructuring advice etc

What you'll need to succeed

• The Client Lead Accountant will be a fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA) with 5+ years' Irish PQE
• Experience in a practice or client-facing industry is essential as this is a strategic client development role
• Experience with management accounts, budgeting & forecasting, strategic financial planning
• Experience across Sage Accounting Systems, Xero and Accounts IQ a distinct advantage.
• Desire to network and a passion for new business development

What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a salary of between €80,000 - €90,000 and benefits include p ension up to 4%, discretionary bonus, healthcare cover, gym & wellness up to €500, professional sub fees covered, 21 days starting, flexible working hours and hybrid working with 2 days from home and 3 days in office - more office presence will be required during probationary period.
