Your experience will be recognised, your progression supported, and your role will play a meaningful part in the organisation’s continued success.
Your New Role & Responsibilities:
This position will be based in both the Meath & Louth area and will involve work across infrastructure, water‑services projects, and general utilities. The role will be paid on an hourly‑rate basis, meaning you will be compensated for every hour worked on site.
Selection of Duties:
- Lead multiple projects across varied environments, ensuring strong oversight of planning, delivery, and day‑to‑day progress.
- Evaluate project decisions with a clear understanding of commercial impact, value, and overall cost performance.
- Prepare accurate cost‑to‑complete assessments and produce clear supporting documentation for claims and financial reporting.
- Develop design solutions from concept through to detailed stages, incorporating relevant technical, environmental, and regulatory considerations.
- Review, interpret, and produce technical drawings with precision to support efficient and practical design outcomes.
- Provide structured, informative reporting to support project visibility, internal coordination, and timely decision‑making.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project progression.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Relevant experience in Project Management within the civils industry is a must to be considered – relevant qualifications are beneficial to your application also.
- Experience in water and electrical infrastructure, supported by strong civils, drainage, and utilities expertise.
- Experience working with structures and general civil works, including steel or reinforced‑concrete elements.
- Able to work independently with confidence while contributing effectively within a team.
- Regularly liaise with multiple subcontractors, departments and staff, etc. to ensure perfect project coordination.
- Experience in drawing, constructing and reviewing drawings.
- Familiarity with recognised construction contract frameworks
- A full, clean driving licence is required for this role.
What You'll Get in Return:
You’ll be joining a stable organisation that offers clear pathways for advancement as you take on greater responsibility. The position is available on an hourly‑rate basis, with rates typically falling between €50 and €60 per hour, depending on your experience and technical capability.
For those who prefer a salaried arrangement, the role generally equates to an annual package of €95,000 to €110,000, with the potential for additional allowances and performance‑related benefits.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major infrastructure project within a rapidly expanding sector, offering both meaningful work and strong long‑term prospects.
