Your new role

As a Civil Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and leading teams on site.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Working on all aspects of groundwork on projects.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Monitoring site safety and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Liaising with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any changes to plans.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Civil Foreman in residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field.
