Civil Foreman - Groundworks

A well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join their team on a major groundworks project in North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with a background in civil works to oversee site operations, ensure high-quality delivery, and drive productivity on a busy, fast-moving project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site groundworks activities.
- Manage site crews, subcontractors, and plant to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring full compliance with site standards and legislation.
- Monitor progress, quality, and materials to keep the project on schedule.
- Liaise with Site Management, Engineers, and QS teams to support project delivery.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all workers adhere to safety protocols.
- Solve day-to-day site issues efficiently to keep work moving.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Foreman on civil or groundworks projects in Ireland.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks including drainage, utilities, foundations, RC works, and general civils.
- Ability to lead crews effectively and maintain high standards of work.
- Excellent understanding of health & safety practices.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to read drawings and work closely with engineering teams.
