Job – Resident Field Engineer –Southwest

Job Title: Civil / Field Engineer
Location: Southeast / Southwest Ireland
Job Type: Contract (12 months)
Rate: €77,823 per annum / €299.32 per day
  • Mileage expenses covered for travel days
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
  • 2–3 days on-site (within the region)
  • Remaining days remote (home-based)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Field / Resident Engineer to support on-site and administrative activities across commercial and residential projects within the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct QA and safety checks on-site (approx. 40%)
  • Engage with on-site teams and ensure compliance standards are met
  • Prepare reports, review pricing, and manage documentation (approx. 40%)
  • Support ad hoc project requirements as needed (approx. 20%)
Ideal Candidate
  • Background in civil engineering
  • Experience in water or wastewater projects is advantageous (metering experience not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance site and administrative work
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
